This items sits at the muzzle and provides a stopping point for the dyneema as it releases the shaft. Without sufficient space above the shaft, the dyneema will strike the shaft as the rollers draw the dyneema and wishbone down. A roller gun absolutely requires a system to prevent this, the Ermes Stopper does a great job of this and is super easy to install.
